Reactive Extensions “for the rest of us” (DevDays, Holland, Part 1)

I was lucky to be able to spend part of last week at the ever impressive DevDays conference out at The Hague in Holland.

This is run by the Microsoft folks in Holland and I’ve been speaking at it for the past few years and I always find it’s one of the very best conferences out there and this year was no exception with around 2000 developers in attendance and many concurrent tracks of content from a pretty stellar line up of speakers.

One of my sessions was on the Reactive Extensions. I spoke on Thursday and the DevDays folks already had the video from the session on Channel 9 by the weekend which is pretty fast going and so I thought I’d embed the video here;

and you can download it in various formats from here;

Attendees on the day have already asked me for the source code to go along with this session so I will write a “Part 2” blog post that walks through all the code that I used in the session (once I’ve put it back together Smile) so that there’s nothing missing whether you came along on the day or whether you caught up with it via the web.

Enjoy.
