Hi Mike,

Thank you for your speech at the stacked event today. I thought the insights you gave on Windows 8 and it's capabilties were excellent. I especially liked the way you skillfully recovered from your device crashing during one of your demos. I am definitely going to take some tips away from that and on how to recover when things go a little pear shaped. Do you have any insights on why some are so negative about Windows namely Jon Honeyball who writes for the PC Pro magazine I thought what you showed today demonstrated a very user friendly advanced OS. kind regards

Hi Denny,

Yes, the device did crash and to some extent it was probably to do with the WiFi driver I've been running on it as it was causing me a few problems.

I'm with you - I find Windows 8 to be a very user friendly advanced OS. I've been running Windows for a long time and, for me, it's the best version we've shipped by a long way.

I wouldn't like to comment on a journalist's opinions - there's plenty of very positive coverage out there for Windows 8 so I'll just leave it to speak for itself and encourage people to try the OS for themselves.

Mike.
