The first four chapters of Kraig Brockschmidt’s new book “Programming Windows 8 Apps with HTML, CSS and JavaScript” are available for free download from MS Press.

Click the book image to go and download. I’m downloading as we speak and putting it on a SkyDrive folder right next to Charles Petzold’s book which I linked to the other day and am in the process of reading.

I was wondering whether to set up a form of ‘book club’ around these books as they get more complete such that a set of people can take on a job of reading a chapter and then getting together on a 15 minute Live Meeting or similar to swap their thoughts. Let me know if anyone’s interested in that kind of idea and I’ll have a think about it.
