A quick plug for a number of hands-on camp events that we have around Windows 8 running next month spanning (for the minute) London and Birmingham;

and possibly with a couple of more dates to be added in Manchester and Edinburgh if these events work out and are well attended.

You can find more details over on the Tech Days website but the basic plan is to get people to bring along their laptops with Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Visual Studio 11 Beta already installed and then work through some hands-on lab material to put together an end-to-end Windows 8 application from scratch. There will also be a few short talks on Windows 8 development to kick-start the process.
