Are you in the UK and building with Silverlight and WCF RIA Services? Drop me a line! mike dot taulty at microsoft dot com
My team is building LOBs using Silverlight 4, WCF Ria, EF, Prism & MEF at a major bank in the UK.
Just did a build but I'm in Canada :(
Love reading your blog
My team is building a COTS LOB application with Silverlight 4, WCF RIA, EF, PRISM, RX.
We're building a line of business composite application framework using Silverlight 4, Prism 4 and WCF Data Services (not quite RIA though).
Seems that your email is now working... :-O
Anyway, Hi Mike,
We are a team of three friends, based in London and we would like to start a new business. We have started working on a business application using Silverligh 4 + WCF RIA Services. The aim is to provide members a technical price that can be used within the underwriting process. We are new in Silverlight but exciting using this technology after we saw a few business demo applications on Internet :-)

On your blog site - going to browse by tag - clicking on "WCF RIA Services" I get an "404 - File or directory not found" error message
Apologies if people have had trouble emailing me today - not often that we have Exchange server problems but today seemed to be one of them.
To the guy who mentioned the tag "WCF RIA Services" not working on my site - you're right. I fixed it. It's to do with tags having spaces and I don't think Community Server (or maybe the tag cloud) can deal with it properly.
Mike.
Hi ,
I'm developing with ria services for a year now? Since RC
I think this technology has a long way to go, and I won't recommended it for someone who is not using entityframework .
If someone has a different opinion I will be glad to hear.
I'm using WCF RIA Services with NHibernate and it's painful :/
Hi Mike
I've been looking at RIA to go with Silverlight 4 (back office), WP7 (client) and ASP.NET webforms (alternative client) since RC and I really like the RIA side of things...
I've Done a few POCs just to make sure that I can do most of what I want to do and think I can finally begin to put it all together together but I think for me the crunch is going to be getting a proper secure configuration ready.
By proper configuration, I mean the message security, etc. Does RIA configure the same way as a standard WCF service in that respect (using webconfig) or are there quirks?
I'm stating a dev of a major application with Silverlight 4 And Ria services in Peru
have a small app using SL4 and RIA with POCO classes, like the above contributor would recommend moving to Entity Framework, but was very educational using POCO (lots of help from your blogs!).
Are you doing a survey of some kind?
Cheers
