Today, I’m running both MetroTwit and Bend which show up on my desktop as;

and neither have the traditional Windows decoration around them and I’m wondering whether having the non-client area of a Window drawn with transparent glass as in;

image

led to a bunch of apps simply taking away the window decoration altogether.

That said, I still find it a little “odd” when one of these windows misbehaves and I find myself pressing ALT-SPACE to bring up the standard menu on it;

Do you like metrotwit? The only thing I want to change is the the width of the app window. I use one column and they presume two

When I visit the link for Bend there's a message that says the product hasn't been published yet.  Do you know when it will be published?

I prefer applications to have the regular Windows furniture, displayed according to the current theme.  It can be frustrating having to learn new ways of performing 'conventional' actions.
