The thing to say here is that the Tech Days events are 100% London based. 1 week of events all happening in London. People who know me will know that I have no particular London bias as I don't live anywhere near there but our group has made the decision to run Tech Days in London this year to see how it works out in terms of driving good attendance and I'm in full agreement with that decision.

The events you see here are fringe/community events run by community groups around the country under the banner of Tech  Days. They are not run by Microsoft or organised by Microsoft.

So - if you wanted the Microsoft Tech Days to happen outside of London then I hear you and I'll note that feedback for future events ( it's worth saying that we've done past events in Scotland (e.g.) ).

But - if you want fringe/community events to happen north of Newcastle then find a Scottish user group and run an event - I'm sure we'll be more than happy to bring it under the banner of Tech Days.
