In case you didn't see it already, ScottGu has a post about updates coming to the .NET Framework V3.5 for people building client applications;

For me I was quite excited about;

  1. Hardware accelerated WPF bitmap effects
  2. WPF DataGrid and Ribbon controls :-)

and, naturally, the setup improvements.
