Yet more news! The parallel extensions for .NET Framework V3.5 now have a Community Tech Preview.

You can find the download here to try and Daniel has been busy making videos on this already over here with some notes over here.

I've not read up on this particularly at this point because I'm still on Beta 2 of Visual Studio 2008 (mostly because I'm on Beta 2 of the ADO.NET Entity Framework) but I imagine that I'll take a close look when I get to the RTM of VS 2008.

I saw a little of Joe Duffy's session at TechEd Europe and what I saw there largely looked like a nicer abstraction than what we have in the .NET ThreadPool so it'll be interesting to see what else is in there.
