We (the UK Microsoft developer community team) came up with this idea that after the Vista & Office Developer Event on the 19th and 20th we could take the whole thing on the road for a week and try to visit companies that couldn't make it to the actual launch (Reading not being the centre of everyone's Universe).
If you're in the UK and you have some developers then we're dead keen to visit your Company in the week of the 22nd to the 26th January.
Your side of the deal;
Provide us with a projector, somewhere for people to sit and a bunch of developers (ideally around 35+) or people interested in developer stuff.
Our side of the deal;
Turn up with a few people, talk about Vista, Framework 3.0 and Office, hand out some goodies, take some photos of your Company for the web site, have a bit of fun and move on up the road.
The big question is.....does anyone fancy it? If you do then here's the link;
http://ukvistaofficelaunchtour.spaces.live.com/
which says that if you mail mailto:msukdpetech@hotmail.co.uk and tell us:
- Your contact details
- Where you are (Town/Postcode)
- How many people can you accommodate
- How many people will you get in the audience
- Let us know if we can we invite the public to come too
- What days of the week can you let us use and is that morning, afternoon or evening
- If there is something special about your venue or location
We'll then piece together the route and get you on the map that we're building of the tour.
Hope to see you :-)
