The fourth (yes, fourth!) UK Developer Community Day is coming up on the 2nd December, at the Microsoft Campus in Reading (below);
If you've not been to one of these before then it's an all day event on a Saturday and it's entirely run by UK developer community volunteers with speakers coming from that same community. Attendance has always been to the capacity of the buildings (300+ folks) and the sessions are really good quality and the general feel of the day is very much informal and relaxed (hey, it's Saturday).
Whether you're a new or an experienced speaker on developer topics, if you have an interest in giving a session then the deadline for submissions is drawing close so please pop on over to the website, have a look at the submissions that are already there and then pitch in and add yourself to the list.
Can't think of a session? Here's 10 that I'd happily attend if someone will give them :-)
- What's Coming in Visual Basic 9?
- Making Smart Use of Managed C++ - How to Avoid "PInvoke Hell"
- Building Rich Interactive Websites with "WPF/E"
- Interacting with XML with C# 3.0, VB 9 and XLINQ
- Building Peer to Peer Applications with Windows Vista
- PowerShell - A Developer's Perspective
- "Atlas" - The Client Side Scripting Enhancements
- Securing Web Sites & Services with Windows CardSpaces
- Deep Dive into Windows Workflow Foundation Runtime Services
- Deep Dive into 3D Graphics with Windows Presentation Foundation
Purely "food for thought" - get submitting :-)
